Circa 1900, with signed back plate, "Charles Hour, France."  Eight-day, gong-striking movement with hour repeat and alarm. 

The clock retains its original 11 jewel lever escapement housed in an unusual case with a bamboo influence and flawless beveled glass panels.  5 1/2" H, excluding handle.
